Overview

Undertake a Level 6 apprenticeship with apetito in BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions - Data Analytics.

This role offers the perfect stepping stone into this dynamic field, providing hands-on experience with real-world data challenges- while earning a competitive apprenticeship salary. 

The Data analytics team supports our businesses in the UK, Ireland and North America and helps the business make the most of the rich data that we hold. 

 

As a Data Analyst, you will be a core member of the data analytics team and you will work on exciting projects that support the business across marketing, product development and operations. 

The role offers you an opportunity to work on diverse data sets across geographies (we support UK, Ireland, and North America) and across B2C and B2B businesses. You will also participate in the exploration into the rich data assets that Wiltshire Farm Foods and apetito have, to identify new opportunities, to deliver superior customer satisfaction and to grow the business. 

You will learn and work on exciting technologies and tools like SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to name a few  

 

Starting salary £23,809 per year

Annual progression based on course achievements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with marketing managers and analytics team to support seamless campaign planning and execution. 
  • Support marketing teams with targeted customer data based on campaign briefs and segmentation criteria. 
  • Assist in development of test-and-learn strategies and A/B testing frameworks to support continuous improvement of marketing campaigns. 
  • Implement automated targeted marketing campaigns with a campaign automation platform. 
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify trends, insights, and improvement areas, and present the findings back to business stakeholders. 
  • Write code in SQL and Python to analyse marketing campaign related data.  

About you

Essential:   

  • 3x A levels (Grade C or higher) or equivalent in at least 1 STEM subject.
  • Demonstrable interest in Data Science / Analytics/ Computer Science
  • An enquiring and problem-solving mindset 
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of colleagues  
  • Enthusiasm and a strong sense of ownership 
  • Excellent computer literacy 
  • Can-do approach 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technology 

  Mandatory for Level 6 apprenticeship:  

  • GCSE Maths grade B or 6 (or equivalent)  
  • GCSE English grade C or 4 (or equivalent)  
  • Have completed Level 3 studies (A-levels, BTEC Level 3 or Level 3 Apprenticeship) by January 2026
  • Must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a data science/ analytics or similar subject
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and not be in full-time education by January 2026 
  • Have lived in the UK and/or EU for 5 years prior to January 2026
  • Ongoing right to work in the UK in a permanent full time role.

Desirable:  

  • Experience of data analytics
  • Degree in STEM subject (must not be data science/ analytics or similar subject)
  • Full driving licence held or being worked towards. 
  • Experience in Python, SQL or R programming languages. 
  • Understanding of customer segmentation or exposure to targeted marketing. 
  • Exposure to data analysis tools, e.g. SQL or Power BI.
