Overview

Do you thrive in a varied role?

Are you energised by helping people grow?

Are you an organised and collaborative administrator?

The Learning & Development Officer will coordinate and deliver meaningful learning activities, such as e-learning courses and in-person training, supporting the business to maintain compliance and training records, and help colleagues embed learning into their day‑to‑day work.

We’re looking for someone who’s happy to get stuck in, support colleagues across the business, and play an active role in shaping a positive learning culture. You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative L&D and HR team, working together to deliver an exceptional service to the organisation.

Solid administrative experience—ideally within an HR or training environment—in a fast‑paced, commercial setting is essential. You’ll be juggling multiple priorities and deadlines so staying organised and calm under pressure will be key.

Technology is critical to delivering learning at apetito. You’ll become the ‘go‑to’ person for our E‑Learning & Compliance platform (My Learning Cloud) and our Security Awareness platform (Zen Guide Proofpoint), so confidence learning new systems and a genuine interest in digital tools will help you thrive.

Relationships are at the heart of how we work. You’ll collaborate with line managers across the business to coordinate training and e-learning as well as other projects.

You’ll need confidence in presenting and coaching, and a proactive approach that reflects apetito’s values of care, integrity, and excellence.

This role is based on-site in Trowbridge at least 3 days per week, so you’ll enjoy working in a busy, supportive office environment.

Occasional travel to our Portbury (BS20) site is required, so access to your own transport is desirable.

Option to work from home up to 2 days per week once fully trained and competent to work independently.
