Your regular hours will be 6am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. 24 hours per week.
The main function of this role will be to transport frozen goods between our Factory in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and national warehouse at our transport hub in Portbury, Somerset.
However, you must be prepared to drive to locations across the country and manage a demanding delivery schedule – our customers depend on our food and we depend on you.

The Role and Team
apetito are looking for an Operational Reporting & Process Improvement Analyst graduate to join the warehouse operations, distribution and customer service business unit based in Portbury, Bristol. As both an operational and financially minded analyst, you will be responsible for producing and reporting on daily operational KPI’s, financial performance and business metrics for key stakeholders in the business. You will also be responsible for data gathering, designing reporting and providing analysis which delivers key business insights (operational & financial) into current performance. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for potential future improvements and efficiencies across a variety of disciplines including – Inbound logistics, Inventory Management, Warehouse Order Picking & Dispatch, Transport & Delivery Planning, Customer Service Processes.
Working closely with the CS&D Commercial Manager, you will help develop a deeper commercial and operational insight into apetito’s current performance, focusing on areas which have the potential to improve the bottom-line and enhance the customer experience / journey.

The Training & Operations Manager is an integral part of the healthcare team, working with the senior management team to ensure the satisfaction of our healthcare customers.
The Training and Operations Manager will report to the Senior Training & Operations Manager and work with Sales Managers, Account Managers and Catering Consultants, as well as the wider team including Marketing and Customer Services. This is an important role and gives us a real point of difference in the Healthcare market. As well as generating your own workload supporting customers, you will work very closely with colleagues in your area promoting the apetito brand; supporting the development of new business as well as building strong relationships in order to maintain our existing customer base.
The Training & Operations team are an integral part of the success of apetito partnerships and a key link between our customers and apetito.
This role would suit someone in a catering manager (or similar) role with commercial experience and a passion for training.
You will be home-based with regular travel across the region and further afield to our head office in Wiltshire and other parts of the country so will involve early starts, late finishes and overnight stays.

The Role and Team
This position is working 24 hours per week, any 3 in 6 days including bank holidays.
Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success.
In this role you will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to our customers doors (no matter what the weather is doing). As such, you will enjoy meeting people and always be willing to go above and beyond what is expected.
Along with this, you will be working within our coldstore that runs at a chilly -20ºc. Protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary.
You will need to work as part of the wider team always looking to help out the office team. We encourage movement between teams to provide flexibility, job satisfaction, personal development and knowledge of the whole business.

The role of our Customer Services Advisor is critical to the success of our business.
Our customers are predominantly elderly and rely upon our office teams to take their orders over the phone or via the internet.
The defining characteristics of our Customer Services Advisors are that they’re organised and efficient. However, apart from the technical skills that are required with the role, the most important attributes are that we demonstrate empathy, patience, kindness, friendliness, care and warmth to all our customers.
The role involves the taking of customer orders and also the making of outbound courtesy calls.
These calls are particularly important as many customers live alone and the phone calls they receive are often the only contact they may have in a single day. As such, many customers become very attached to their “friends” at Wiltshire Farm Foods.
Wiltshire Farm Foods supplies frozen meal solutions direct to the consumer. We have a cold store to accommodate the stock necessary to be able to be able to deliver to our customers each week.
The ultimate goal is to provide a service to our customers that exceed expectations while at the same time continuously improving efficiencies.
